LemeShare is a real-time collaborative screen sharing tool. We are committed to being transparent about how the service works and what data is involved.
LemeShare requires no account, login, or registration. We do not store any personal information on our servers. All session data (room codes, participant names) exists only in memory for the duration of a session and is permanently deleted when the session ends or after 4 hours of inactivity.
When you use LemeShare the following data is transmitted:
Our signalling server handles only the coordination of WebRTC connections (offer/answer/ICE candidate exchange). It never receives or processes your screen content. Standard web server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) may be retained for up to 7 days for security and abuse monitoring purposes.
LemeShare uses WebRTC for peer-to-peer screen sharing. This means that participants within the same session may be able to see each other's IP addresses through the ICE candidate negotiation process. If this is a concern, we recommend using a VPN before joining a session.
LemeShare does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not track you across sessions or websites.
LemeShare is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
